Sam grew up in an orphanage and took to the Sea early in life.He worked his way up to Captain and, in his own words, had salt water rather than
blood running through his veins.The hardships of life left him content with
being on his own as a lighthouse keeper in his later years, but he never lost faith in what was good.Finding Storm gave him the family he never realized he had missed.Sam raised Storm the best he could, instilling within Storm faith in God and human nature.Sam knew Storm existed for great things, he just didn’t know the full extent of what Storm was meant
